Job description

Driver Hire Winchester is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team for a delivery role. This position involves transporting drinks and snacks to airport lounges, ensuring timely and professional service.Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Type: 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
• Start Times: Between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM
• Duties:
• Delivering drinks and snacks to airport lounges
• Handling goods stored in cages
• Working alongside a driver’s mate for loading and unloading
• Security Requirements: Candidates must pass security and DBS checks due to the nature of the deliveries.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Cat C licence (Class 2)
• CPC & Digi Tacho card
• Experience preferred, but newly qualified drivers are welcome
• Clean licence (No points or endorsements)
• 5 years of continuous work history (for security clearance)
• Own transport for commuting
• Good time management & communication skills
• Comfortable with manual handling & heavy lifting
