guaranteed to be home every day!Family culture and advancement opportunitiesPosition OverviewThe Delivery Service Representative in Training will work with the Transportation Training Specialist to learn all aspects and responsibilities of the role, including, but not limited to customer service, pre/post trip, safety and company policies, procedures and practices. In addition, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience to become a Delivery Service Representative.Duties and Responsibilities:This position will provide opportunities to learn the correct offloading of products from the vehicle, recording of delivery information, accepting payment (no cash) for goods when required, and ensuring overall vehicle safety. Upon completion of the training program, the Delivery Service Representative in Training will be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road, and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures.Required Skills and Qualifications:Meets or exceeds current role’s performance expectationsMinimum of 2 years of class 5 driver, courier or driver helper experienceMust have a Class 1 LearnersValid Class 5 license or higher with a clean driver’s abstract is requiredEligibility for bonding based on the results of a criminal record checkStrong customer service skillsHigh level of personal integrity and strong work ethicProfessional demeanour under stressful situationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift up to 60 pounds frequentlyMust be able to work with little or no supervision; must be self-directedWe thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for the next stage will be contacted.
