A Class A Driver at SET Environmental is responsible for: 

• Safely transporting material from customer sites to disposal and treatment facilities in compliance with DOT regulations
• Ensuring the health and safety of the customer, equipment, and site by adhering to SET safety policies, and procedures by identifying, communicating and mitigating hazards
• Working in tandem with SET field service personnel on various projects
• Daily inspections of equipment and supplies for project needs
• The safe operation of various types of equipment ranging from, but not limited to:
  • Roll-off trailer and straight truck
  • Vacuum and product tankers
  • 48’ and 53’ Dry van
  • Flatbed, lowboy trailers
  • 3000-gallon liquid vac
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary

 

position REQUIREMENTS 

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Minimum 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience with 1 year of tractor trailer experience
• Tanker, Haz-Mat endorsement or ability to obtain
• Ability to perform out of town runs as needed, and be available for on-call rotation
• Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently
• Maintain Electronic driver’s log on company provided smart phone
• Must pass/maintain physical requirements including DOT medical card
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record that meets SET insurance requirements
