Seeking a Class Teacher in Portsmouth, Hampshire!Job Title: Class Teacher
Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire
Pay Rate: £30,000 – £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: Easter 2025

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across various subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Support students with their learning and ensure they remain on task.
• Mark work and provide constructive feedback.
• Report any issues or concerns to the relevant staff members.

Requirements of a Class Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to different subjects and age groups.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
