As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will be responsible for providing essential support to a team of clerical staff in the Boiler and Elevator Divisions, ensuring efficient and effective office operations. Work involves reviewing incoming applications to ensure they are complete and legible and that the correct Application fee has been received. You will also be responsible for processing the application payment into the bureau database and verifying payment amount with information received from Central Collections. Communication skills are key in this role as you will be assisting the general public and inspectors with resolving invoice problems, address changes, certificate requests, and scheduling inspections.
