Job Title: Health Information Management Clerk

How you’ll contribute
Responsible for planning, developing, and administering health information services consistent with accreditation/regulatory standards as well as
facility/company standards and policies. Directs the operations of the department and implements P&Ps for documenting, storing and retrieving
information, processing medical legal documents, insurance data, and correspondence requests. Manager supervises and maintains patient medical
records and monitors staff documentation requirements. The manager assists with centralized coding efforts and acts as facility HIPAA officer.

Qualifications and requirements
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in health information management required, prior supervisory experience preferred.
- License: Prefer Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT). Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Additional Requirements: May be required to work flexible hours..
