Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) – Night – Chula Vista

This is a full-time position (64 hours per two week pay period) with night shifts, including rotating weekends, at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista. Training will be during day shifts for the first few months. Includes $4k retention incentive and $3k relocation for eligible new hires.

The Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) will join the team at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista working as a generalist, rotating through the different benches.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or degree acceptable for California Laboratory Licensure
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Required Certification/Registration:

• CDPH Licensure: MTA (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) Licensed to perform work in all areas of the Clinical Lab

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• One year equivalent full time in a clinical laboratory.
• Blood bank experience
