Job Description
Conduct a detailed market analysis of the CMT sector in Riyadh, covering demand trends, client segments, and service gaps.
Benchmark existing CMT labs in the region by analyzing their capabilities, pricing models, certifications, and market positioning.
Define the scope of services for the proposed lab (soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, steel testing) in line with ASTM, AASHTO, ISO/IEC 17025, and local standards.
Assess potential client sectors (infrastructure, real estate, industrial, etc.) and develop a client acquisition strategy.
Provide input on financial feasibility, including CAPEX estimates, OPEX projections, and ROI.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to collect and validate relevant data.
Prepare and present a final market study report with actionable recommendations, risk analysis, and an implementation roadmap for lab establishment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
12–15 years of experience in CMT lab operations, setup, and consultancy.
Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, ISO/IEC 17025, and GCC/local testing standards.
Proven expertise in market research, feasibility studies, and laboratory development projects.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with the Saudi construction sector, market dynamics, and regulatory environment is highly desirable.
