Job Description

• Conduct a detailed market analysis of the CMT sector in Riyadh, covering demand trends, client segments, and service gaps.
• Benchmark existing CMT labs in the region by analyzing their capabilities, pricing models, certifications, and market positioning.
• Define the scope of services for the proposed lab (soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, steel testing) in line with ASTM, AASHTO, ISO/IEC 17025, and local standards.
• Assess potential client sectors (infrastructure, real estate, industrial, etc.) and develop a client acquisition strategy.
• Provide input on financial feasibility, including CAPEX estimates, OPEX projections, and ROI.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to collect and validate relevant data.
• Prepare and present a final market study report with actionable recommendations, risk analysis, and an implementation roadmap for lab establishment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
• 12–15 years of experience in CMT lab operations, setup, and consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, ISO/IEC 17025, and GCC/local testing standards.
• Proven expertise in market research, feasibility studies, and laboratory development projects.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with the Saudi construction sector, market dynamics, and regulatory environment is highly desirable.
