JOB TITLE: CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift

LOCATION: Archbald, PA

PAY RATE: $23.75/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Follow instructions to machine, fabricate, or assemble parts according to print and operation sheet specifications
• Use conventional, CNC, and sheet metal machines including saws, riveters, fasteners, setters, presses, spot welders, and hand tools (e.g., grinders, Helicoil tools)
• Perform secondary operations such as deburring and straightening during machine cycles
• Complete general labor tasks such as:
  • Grinding/sanding weldments using pneumatic tools
  • Straightening bent/twisted parts using manual jacks and hydraulic presses
  • Washing parts using aqueous and ultrasonic machines
  • Assisting painters with prep work
  • Sand/shot blasting steel weldments
• Inspect parts using standard gauges, micrometers, indicators, calipers, depth gauges, etc., to ensure compliance with specifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma (degree not required)
• Safety shoes are required for this position
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to learn to read and interpret operation sheets and blueprints
• Understanding of thread types (coarse, fine, metric, and standard)
• Experience with stock cutting saws
• Familiarity with large Proceco wash stations
• Burr bench work experience
• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
