CNC MACHINIST

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist responsible for setting up and operating CNC Lathe and/or 3-Axis CNC Mill machines. The role includes setting up fixtures and tooling, programming with Surfcam, and inspecting parts using calipers and micrometers. This position involves machining a mix of low, medium, and high-volume parts, potentially requiring multiple setups per day, and may transition into a lead role over time.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe and 3-Axis CNC Mill machines.
• Program Haas VMC using Surfcam.
• Set up fixtures and tooling, making necessary adjustments.
• Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers.
• Perform tool changes and adjust speeds and feeds as needed.
• Handle multiple setups per day due to varied part volumes.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of CNC Lathe and/or 3-Axis CNC Mill setup experience.
• Ability to set up fixtures and tooling and make necessary adjustments.
• Proficient in inspecting parts with calipers and micrometers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CNC Lathe setup experience is a plus.
• Experience in machining, machine operation, and inspection.
• Ability to provide own hand tools and measuring tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 – $70000.00/yr.
