position Title: CNC / Manual Lathe and Mill Machinist

Location: Indian Trail, NC

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with occasional overtime)

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (higher compensation available for top talent)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC / Manual Lathe and Mill Machinist to join our team. This role involves operating both manual and CNC equipment to produce high-quality, customized parts. While the facility is equipped with automated machinery, manual machining is often preferred due to the level of customization and efficiency required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain manual lathes and manual mills to machine precision parts.
• Set up and operate 2-axis CNC machines, performing light programming as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions.
• Perform tool setup, part layout, and finishing operations.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of machining experience required.
• Proficiency in both manual and CNC lathe/mill operation (2-axis).
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with custom or one-off part production preferred.
