Coffee Shop Supervisor – Hilton Atlanta and Towers

The Hilton Atlanta is seeking a Coffee Shop Supervisor to join their Food & Beverage team! Find us in Downtown Atlanta, within six blocks of attractions, including Centennial Olympic Park and the Georgia Aquarium. Dining options include four unique restaurants and bars. The Market Place is a fast paced café and sundry shop that serves gourmet goods on the fly, from specialty coffees to artisanal sandwiches. This individual will help oversee a team of around 20 people.

Ideal candidate has a food and beverage background. Hotel experience is preferred. Seeking someone with strong leadership and communication skills. 

Shift Pattern: typical shifts are from 3pm-close. Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays required.

What will I be doing?

As a Coffee Shop/Restaurant Supervisor, you would be responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration of a restaurant in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervise, support, schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members in all restaurant activities and operations
• Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
• Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
• Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
• Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control
