Collections Specialist in Lexington, Kentucky

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Wholesale Distribution industry based in LEXINGTON-FAYETTE, Kentucky. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage commercial accounts with precision

• Handle collections, ensuring adherence to established collection processes

• Deliver excellent customer service while performing collection duties

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions based on account status

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications

• Ensure adherence to commercial collections best practices

• Effectively manage collection tasks while maintaining a positive customer relationship. Requirements • Proficiency in Collection Processes is required.

• Knowledge of Collections – Consumer is necessary.

• Familiarity with Collections – Commercial is important.

• Experience in Commercial Collections is desirable.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is needed.

• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented nature are essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is beneficial.

• Experience in the Wholesale Distribution industry is preferred.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is needed.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information is required.

• Strong customer service skills are necessary.
