Collections Specialist in Marlboro, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist to be a part of our team in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry, stationed in Marlboro, Massachusetts. This role involves handling commercial collections and resolving disputes, along with customer service and billing collection. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the collection of commercial debts to minimize outstanding dues.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for tracking and reporting on collection activities and customer account statuses.

• Provide excellent customer service by resolving customer inquiries and disputes related to billing and collections.

• Regularly monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate actions as required.

• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.

• Assist in the billing process, ensuring all charges are accurate and sent out in a timely manner.

• Work closely with other teams and departments to resolve disputes and clarify billing inaccuracies.

• Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding collections.

• Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading detail oriented publications. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Commercial Collections

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to resolve disputes effectively

• Knowledge of billing and billing collection

• Experience in waste, refuse and environmental waste management industry

• Ability to work as a Collections Specialist
