Title: Collision Technician
Reports To: Collision Shop Manager
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing damaged motor coaches and other commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and refurbishes motorcoaches, commercial and non-commercial vehicles and other vehicles, both towed and driven
  • Understands and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Compliance with all local, State, and Federal regulations applicable to operations, buildings, grounds, and personnel including EPA, OSHA, and DOT
  • Specific duties and responsibilities are determined by individual collision technician training, certification, knowledge, skill, and experience
  • Other Duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Requires good organizational skills to include the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments within expected time frames
  • Employee must possess the tools necessary to complete assigned responsibilities
  • Experience with post pulling jack
  • Must have welding experience or certification in a welding program and knowledge of laser alignment procedures
  • Previous experience in a collision/frame shop and or collision related education
Skills:
  • Must be a self-starter and possess a positive attitude
  • Must have good attendance
  • Willing to travel with possible work on the weekends/overtime a plus
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to frequently move items weighing up to 100lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout shift
