Our client is a leading sportswear brand who are making huge waves in the industry, with a city behind them and exposure globally through endorsements from some of the globe’s most exciting athletes this brand is on track to be one of the North West’s biggest success stories in recent years.About the roleReporting directly into an impressive Finance Director, this is a high profile role which will use accurate analysis to recommend clear actions with the aim of driving operational efficiencies and then ultimately increase profit.Key responsibilities

• Analyse large data sets across the business, making clear recommendations from your analysis.
• Use different data points to show a complete picture of performance including financial and customer.
• Introduce and advocate best practice analytical processes.
• Own the process of supplier profitability and cost price make up feeding insight into divisional teams.
• Support the trading teams in supplier negotiations.
• Automate key reporting requirements.
• Stay on top of the latest marketing trends.
• Perform in depth analysis on sales & margin.
• Support the budget process.
• Work with non financial stakeholders.

Commercial Finance Analyst Person profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified or passed finalist
• Proven commercial analytical experience
• Very good with systems, data, excel,
• Experience gained within an omni-channel retail/consumer background highly desirable
• A strong analytical approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Used to adapting and dealing with change
• Deliver to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
