Commercial Litigation Associate (Mid-Level)

Venable LLP’s Commercial Litigation Group seeks a mid-level associate with at least three years of experience to join the practice in the San Francisco office.

The successful candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding academic credentials. Qualified candidates will have excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, have taken/defended depositions, managed all phases of discovery, managed junior associates, work well in a team, and be prepared to take on significant responsibility in Venable’s cases. Candidates will support commercial litigation activities, including complex commercial litigation such as trade secrets and class actions. Participation in marketing and business development activities, including client pitches and presentations are expected. Prior law firm experience is preferred. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction’s bar.
