About this opportunity

Are you ready to join our Group Sourcing and Supplier Management team and help us to shape and deliver the next phase of our transformation?

You’ll play a pivotal role working between traditional Sourcing and Supplier Management components of a new team that has been created to oversee the ‘End to End’ life cycle of all Management Consultancy Engagements within LBG. This is an exciting new opportunity where you’ll support establishing and building relationships with the Business and Suppliers to identify additional areas of value within live engagements, and for future renewals to meet the current and future needs of the business.

What will I be doing?

In this role you’ll be managing active supplier engagements working with the identified Business Lead, through to Accountable Executives to identify and develop improvements through your insight into commercial and performance models for consultancies.

You’ll collaborate closely with Sourcing Leads who manage initial engagements with Suppliers, informing them of the wider supplier relationship and performance, whilst working with the Supplier Management team and supporting them in their management of non-operational performance, through relationships you’ve built.

The role is suited to a passionate and ambitious individual who wants to play a significant role in driving a bold agenda!

Why Lloyds Banking Group

What you’ll need

  • Experience of developing category strategies, in contract life improvements and saving to drive the effective supply of services to an organisation.
  • Experience of leading sourcing processes that leverage economies of scale, including identify alignments across supplier relationships to delivery additional commercial value through robust contract negotiations.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with sourcing colleagues, internal customers and suppliers to manage in contact life initiatives including negotiations based on changing programme needs and supporting any performance issues and remediation.
  • An insight on levers to be applied to generate service and savings improvements within the consultancy category through use of data and analytics including commercial terms and offshoring capabilities.
  • An ability to apply expertise in contractual terms and conditions ensuring appropriate risk mitigation is embedded into supply contracts.

And any experience of these would be really useful

  • Sourcing professional services.
