Commercial & IP Lawyer – Fixed Term Contract – Senior Associate/ Director – Leeds We are working with this top tier international firm in Leeds, who are looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer. They are looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to take up a 12 month fixed term contract with their Commercial & Tech team in Leeds. This is a maternity leave cover and is not expected to go permanent at the end of the 12 months. This is a small, 1-partner team where the Partner is still a hands-on fee earner with the team, but also provides professional support services to the national Commercial team as a whole. They have been with the firm for 26 years. This is a small friendly team with a very low turnover of staff. The team in Leeds handles a mix of direct commercial and non-contentious IP work on behalf of key clients in the entertainment / music / event industry, as well as a wide range of commercial support matters in respect of major corporate deals. The team is very flexible around office attendance – some office attendance will be required but there is not a mandate for a specific number of days and they are very much open to discussion on it for candidates who live some distance from central Leeds. Salary packages are highly competitive as you would expect from one of the Big 6 firms in Leeds, and this hire can be at Senior Associate or Director level, depending on experience.
