What You’ll Do

As a Commodity Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting sourcing strategies and supplier relationships across our operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Execute regional and global sourcing strategies to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals 
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives through negotiation, sourcing strategies, and process improvements 
  • Manage sourcing activities, including financial, market, and spend analysis 
  • Support supplier negotiations and contract administration in partnership with the Commodity Manager 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product launches and cost initiatives 
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain and commodity risks 
  • Support supplier development initiatives and maintain strong supplier relationships 
  • Analyze data and trends to support strategic decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
  • 1–5 years of manufacturing experience, including sourcing or procurement experience preferred 
  • Experience supporting cost-reduction or sourcing initiatives preferred 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with suppliers 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as SAP

  • Travel: Approximately 30% regional travel 
  • Work Environment: Professional office environment with cross-functional collaboration
