The Specialist is a strategic planner who works collaboratively within the division and across the organization to execute marketing and communications plans. The Specialist creates content such as, but not limited to, articles, news release, story and program profiles, social media posts and ensures it is published and leveraged on appropriate NWP and NWP partner communication tools including, but not limited to, website, print and electronic publication, media, and social media.Responsibility 1: Strategic Planning and Project ExecutionResponsibility 2: Marketing and CommunicationResponsibility 3: Building NWP’s Digital PresenceResponsibility 4: Key Liaison between teams within the learning communityResponsibility 5: Other Duties as AssignedNWP offers lifelong learning opportunities through professional development & wellness programs, a competitive salary and compensation package, and a student-centered culture that is vital to our community.Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will have a two-year diploma from the following fields Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:

  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • ability to build strong relationships across the organization; and
  • a high level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
