Job Overview:

Community Medical Center is a fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, the hospital has evolved into the state s largest non-teaching hospital and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school graduate,
• Customer Service experience preferred
• Ability to operate a PC proficiently
• Must be able to work alone
• Must be flexible
• Command of the English language

Preferred:

• Bilingual a plus

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full-Time
• Days
• Weekend rotation
• Holiday rotation

Essential Functions:

• Communications Operator for two facilities: Community Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Answering incoming call
• Transferring calls to appropriate departments
• Assisting with outgoing calls, providing information
• Making overhead announcements, following procedures for emergency alerts.
• The Communications Operators are Essential Personnel and provide services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year including holidays.
