NATURE AND SCOPE
Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, the Compensation Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting and evolving the organization’s overall compensation programs and practices. This hands-on position offers a unique opportunity in both program design and execution, with responsibilities that include the administration of incentive and commission plans, job evaluations, and compensation survey management. The analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders to support employment offers, conduct specialized analysis, and contribute to departmental projects and initiatives. Additionally, this role is integral to the annual merit cycle process and other key compensation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 3 years progressive experience in designing and administering compensation programs. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
2. Demonstrated success in the design and delivery of incentive and commission programs.
3. Experience working with compensation benchmarking software and HR Management systems. BetterComp and Dayforce experience preferred.
4. Understanding of Radford McLagan and Mercer benchmarking data, including salary survey participation and job architecture.
5. Proven ability to balance multiple priorities while managing a variety of deliverables in a high volume work environment with strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
7. Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
8. Must have strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to identity trends and make recommendations.
9. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must understand and comply with job related state and federal laws and regulations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Serve as a thought partner in evolving and supporting Landmark Credit Union’s compensation strategy, processes, and programs.
2. Consolidate, maintain, and administer the company’s sales incentives and commission plans. Conduct research and provide recommendations pertaining to total compensation practices.
3. Manage the administration of the company’s recognition programs. Assist in program expansion through best practice research and make recommendations based on the company’s demographics, culture, and budget.
4. Conduct job evaluations and analysis to determine appropriate salary grades and competitive positioning.
5. Drive the completion and analysis of salary survey data, evaluates market trends and make recommendations to ensure market competitiveness.
6. Assist with the annual merit process by partnering with key stakeholders throughout all facets of the process from budgeting to execution.
7. Partner with HR colleagues on organizational and departmental initiatives, serving as a compensation subject matter expert.
8. Provide effective problem solving and communication with all internal and external clients to ensure requests are handled efficiently.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
