As the company continues to grow, we’re seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join the team and support its ongoing commitment to excellence in structural steel.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator with expertise in structural steel to lead and oversee all phases of steel construction projects-from design review through fabrication, installation, and closeout. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with industry standards.

This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion within scope.
• Coordinate project execution, including detailing, fabrication, site inspections, and documentation.
• Prepare estimates, budgets, RFIs, change orders, and track project costs and deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to define scope, set expectations, and ensure quality standards.
• Oversee contracts, shop drawings, scheduling, and team performance.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to review schematics and design plans.
• Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Utilize project management software such as Procore and Textura for tracking progress.
• Monitor project milestones and deliverables, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare regular status reports for clients and upper management.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management and estimating experience in structural steel.
• In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication, components, and installation.
• Proficient with construction industry software and AutoCAD
• Skilled in estimating, reading technical drawings, and managing site activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management abilities.
• Experienced in project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
