Located in Bridgeport, WV

Salary: up to $75,000 annually

A construction company specializing in both residential and commercial builds in the Bridgeport area is now seeking a Construction Superintendent to join their team. This great long-term opportunity offers room to grow and compensation up to $75,000 annually, based on experience. In this role, you will work directly with the owners to perfectly execute customer visions for everything from kitchens and garages to full commercial stores.

Duties To Include:

• Follow up on project leads, including traveling to potential job sites to meet with clients and get project details
• Estimate, draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Determine and define scope of work and deliverables
• Predict resources needed to complete project
• Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
• Manage costs in order to meet budget
• Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
• Manage construction schedule and activities
• Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
• Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
• Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
• Maintain customer and client relationships throughout project timeline; review changes and recost the job as needed
• Utilize CAD sketches or PDF files to determine square footages

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• A proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous CAD experience is preferred
• At least 1 year experience in a related role. Previous construction experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to perform consistently in a fast-paced work environment, self-motivation with ability to multi-task efficiently
• Professionalism and excellent customer service – this person will work directly with company owners, as well as subcontractors and clients
• Organizing and prioritizing skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
