The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with over 75 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for refugees and internally displaced people.
Tender purpose:
The office of the Norwegian Refugee Council invites your company to apply for the Development of a Sustainable Self-Governance Model for HMH’s Local Actor Network.
NRC HMH seeks to develop a network self-governance model to achieve the following objectives:
- Define a collaborative, structured and scalable approach for the network to support meaningful and equitable partnerships, as well as business continuity.
- Strengthen the network’s capacity for self-governance, decision-making, and collective action by incorporating mechanisms that promote collaboration, transparency, and accountability.
- Map (pilot) opportunities for holistic qualitative service provision for the network of local actors.
- Identify innovative practices and scalable solutions for efficient local collaboration that are informed by global and regional best practices, including and learning from other civil society networking models or private sector.
- Provide a roadmap for the network’s sustainable growth, outlining key steps, milestones, and resources required to achieve long-term impact.
- Identify best practices and tools to support local actor resilience, enables them to adapt to changing contexts or needs and enhances their preparedness to manage shocks to the civil society landscape.
- Support the network in fundraising to enable network functioning.
Specific deliverables and timeframe for delivery have been outlined in ToRs Annex 2 TOR.
