This consultancy seeks to provide essential support to UNICEF’s Senior Partnerships Advisor within the Disability Team, focusing on expanding partnerships and resource mobilization to advance the Disability Inclusion Policy and Strategy (DIPAS) endorsed in December 2022. This initiative aligns with UNICEF’s Programme Group priorities and presents a strategic opportunity for Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division (PFP) to bolster disability inclusion efforts across UNICEF’s work while exploring new fundraising avenues.
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Partnerships Advisor, the consultant will play a crucial role in strengthening partnerships and mobilizing resources, supporting the roll-out of DIPAS across UNICEF’s global programs. This collaboration between PFP and the Disability Unit within UNICEF’s Programme Group is designed to maximize PFP’s contribution to the disability agenda by enhancing PFP’s DIPAS Action Plan and securing substantial financial and non-financial support.
The DIPAS framework (2022-2030) sets ambitious goals to scale and mainstream disability inclusion. This consultancy offers the consultant an opportunity to leverage these goals to build high-value partnership propositions, which align with PFP’s high ambition to secure six- and seven-figure contributions. The consultant’s role will be pivotal in devising innovative strategies to cultivate new private sector partnerships, expand existing ones, and generate resources that align with DIPAS’s scale.
Key responsibilities for the consultant will include:
This consultancy offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the implementation of DIPAS, enhancing both PFP’s support to the Disability Team and UNICEF’s broader mission for inclusion. The successful candidate will bring both technical expertise and innovative approaches to partnership development, ultimately strengthening UNICEF’s efforts to create a more inclusive world for all children.
How can you make a difference?
Scope of Work:

The consultant will work closely with PFP teams, National Committees, Regional Offices, and Country Offices to identify and cultivate new fundraising opportunities that advance the goals of the Disability Inclusion Policy and Strategy (DIPAS).
