We are looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant for our growing EY Private Corporate Tax team in our Sydney office. Our team work with leading and inspiring entrepreneurs, private equity backed companies and founder led businesses.

Your key responsibilities

• Provide advice to clients on the application of Australian tax laws.
• Provide strategic tax planning and structuring advice for outbound groups.
• Provide post-deal taxation services and ad-hoc tax advice to acquired corporates.
• Provide advice to clients in respect of tax corporate governance policies and processes.
• Review corporate income tax returns.
• Act as a key point of contact for your clients.
• Work with our Partners to execute market development initiatives.

What we’re looking for

• Tax technical knowledge relevant to trusts and private companies
• Experience in Corporate Tax Advisory and Corporate Tax Compliance, ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm or corporate business consulting environment
• Strong accounting skills in the field of corporate tax
• Enjoy working in a collegiate team environment
• Ability to build strong and lasting business relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong commercial awareness
• First-class numerical and analytical skills
