Graduate Consultant

This is an entry-level consultant role for those who are about to or have recently graduated from their undergraduate or postgraduate studies. We are looking for motivated, analytical and highly numerate individuals from all academic backgrounds to join our market-leading team based in Stockholm, starting in September 2025.

Who we are

FTI Consulting is the world’s leading expert-driven consulting firm. Over the last 40 years, FTI Consulting experts have served as the trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies and the world’s leading law and private equity firms when they are facing their greatest opportunities and challenges.

Our expertise extends to the valuation of business, intellectual property, financial products, and other assets, providing essential insights and expert evidence on valuation issues and quantifying economic losses before courts and tribunals worldwide. We also deliver valuation services for commercial, reporting, and regulatory purposes, including licensing, investment appraisal, fiscal valuation, and transfer pricing.

As part of our commitment to growth in the Nordic region, we are looking for talented individuals to join our team in Stockholm, where our office serves as a key hub for everything we do across the Nordics and beyond. With more than a decade of experience in Sweden, we have built strong relationships and a solid reputation for solving complex challenges, ranging from disputes and investigations to valuations and infrastructure projects. Our existing offices have successfully addressed significant matters across the Nordics, and we are eager to deepen our investment in the region by establishing and growing our physical presence in Sweden.

We are passionate about investing in local talent and making a real difference in Sweden’s vibrant business community. When you join us, you’ll become part of a supportive and dynamic team where your ideas and expertise will truly make an impact. You will work alongside leading experts who are dedicated to helping clients thrive and shaping the future of the Nordic business landscape. You will collaborate closely with colleagues based in London, contributing to projects across the United Kingdom and the broader European region.

If you are ready to be part of something exciting and want to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you!”

What we do

In FTI Consulting’s Economic and Financial Consulting (EFC) practice, we help our clients navigate legal, regulatory and international arbitration proceedings while supporting strategic decision making and public policy debates around the world. Delivering incisive interpretation of complex economic issues has made us a global leader in this field. Our team includes economists, accountants, valuation professionals, MBAs and econometricians.

Our experts draw on a diverse set of skills to answer a wide range of economic and financial questions, often in the context of legal disputes.

We work on varied and challenging assignments across a wide spectrum of industries. We work with international law firms, global conglomerates and FTSE 100 companies, governments and regulators.

We have significant expertise in the valuation of businesses, intellectual property, financial products, and other assets. We are the leading firm in the provision of expert evidence on valuation issues and the quantification of economic losses before courts and tribunals all around the world. We also provide valuation services for commercial, reporting, and regulatory purposes, for example, in the context of licensing, investment appraisal, fiscal valuation, and transfer pricing.

Our practice leaders have a wealth of experience and are recognised experts in their fields.

Examples of questions our clients have asked us include are:

  • How much is the brand name of a Premier League football club worth?
  • What would be a fair way to distribute money from streaming service royalties to music artists?
  • Are the prices charged for a pharmaceutical drug excessive?
  • What is the value of the shares in one of Europe’s largest supermarket chains?
  • What are the lost profits that would have arisen under a failed hypercar distribution agreement?
  • How do you value an early-stage clean energy company?
  • What price would have been paid between joint venture partners in a multi-billion dollar business, had financial records and forecasts not been misrepresented?
  • What were the implications of COVID-19 on oil prices and the value of assets?
