Fournir un soutien technique au bureau pays Unicef Togo à travers la section Survie de l’Enfant et plus particulièrement à la composante santé, ainsi qu’au Ministère de la Santé et de l’Hygiène Publique qui consistera à coordonner les efforts d’analyse et d’identification des déterminants de la récurrence des épidémies de choléra qui affectent régulièrement les populations de Lomé et de certaines zones de la région côtière.
Champ d’application des travaux :
Le cholera est un problème récurrent de santé publique en République Togolaise, avec des notifications de cas et décès de cette maladie en 2020, 2021, 2024 et 2025. Ainsi :
La maladie affecte régulièrement les populations de Lomé et de certaines zones de la région côtière. Sa propagation semble être exacerbée par le déficit d’hygiène et d’assainissement, dans un contexte de persistance de la défécation à l’air libre. Afin d’aider à l’identification des causes profondes de la récurrence de cette épidémie et proposer des mesures correctrices adaptées au contexte local, culturellement acceptables, et tenant compte des ressources disponibles, l’UNICEF envisage de recruter un consultant international ayant les compétences nécessaires pour appliquer à cette épidémie récurrente l’approche de l’analyse intégrée des épidémies (AIE). Cette approche consiste en la mise en place d’une collaboration multipartenaire au niveau local pour comprendre la dynamique des épidémies afin d’y répondre efficacement. C’est une approche holistique qui intègre des connaissances multidisciplinaires essentielles pour orienter les mesures de santé publique pour une prévention durable des épidémies.
