Overview

As a SAP Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding and analyzing business requirements to develop technical design specifications and translate them into program codes. The role involves unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth system operations. You will also be responsible for fixing bugs, managing system changes, and maintaining up-to-date system documentation.

Ideal candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or a related field and 1-5 years of experience in at least one ERP technology area, with proficiency in ERP programming languages.

What will you do?

Project Delivery

• Understand and analyze business requirements.
• Develop technical design specifications and translate them into program codes.
• Create unit test packages, execute tests, and document results to ensure program quality.
• Conduct review and integration testing before handing over deliverables for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Investigate reported problems/errors and apply necessary amendments to ensure smooth system operations.
• Fix bugs and reported issues in the system.

Change & Configuration Management

• Manage changes to configurable items within the system.
• Oversee configuration management planning, identification, controls, and audits.

System Maintenance & Documentation

• Ensure system documentation is up to date.
• Maintain system configurations for long-term operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Mandatory Certifications: (Specify required ERP-related certifications, if any)
• 1-5 years of experience in at least one ERP technology area, especially in ERP programming languages
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in technical design, coding, and unit testing
• Familiarity with configuration management and system documentation
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix system bugs/errors efficiently
• Educational Qualification: Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
