Job Description

Due to our rapid growth, we are currently looking for an experienced management consultant with a background working on client projects within data governance & transformation.

Consultant / Senior Consultant

Position Overview:

• Participating in projects with leading financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies, across technology, Finance, Data and Information Management departments.
• Lead data governance and framework in finance transformation projects
• Be an active team member and provide support to managers and key stakeholders for the successful execution of client projects.
• Working closely with our other offices and leverage our global network to take part in cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge.
• Sharing consulting best practices with the team.
• Prepare material to support business development initiatives

Specific areas of expertise:

Ideally, you would have experience in projects in one or more of these areas:

• Reviewing data requirements, leverage analytic and technical skills to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data solutions and capabilities to tackle business problems.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise data strategy in key areas such as data governance and data framework
• UML data modeling experience will be desirable
• Understanding of insurance/ banking processes and data domains.
• Working with project manager and stakeholders on requirement formalization and writing (user stories, use cases, test cases)
• Working with business and technology teams on process mapping and engineering as well as documentation
• Data Governance: Provide data insights for the business and function, recommend areas for improved data consolidation, automate reports to streamline the data collection and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of working experience
• Relevant experience in a management consulting firm
• Excellent Project Management skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics.
• A good understanding of insurance/ banking processes and data domains will be desirable
• Relevant systems and process analysis experience: A good understanding of the systems development process and overall project lifecycle.
• Knowledge of ETL process, data governance, data quality management concepts, and data quality tools
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization and people from diverse backgrounds in the Asia Pacific Region.
• Ideally, exposure in various business technology solutions would be beneficial, understanding of SQL, Java etc.
• Logical thinker, good communication skills and details oriented
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and client face-off.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership and responsibility.
• Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
