The opportunity

The Finance Team works with clients to implement the finance transformation agenda to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their internal finance and accounting systems and processes. Finance team is designed to improve the efficiency of clients’ finance organization and related reporting functions. We help organizations to transform the finance functions by better finance systems and processes.

Your key responsibilities :

  1. Perform requirement analysis on finance systems and processes
  2. Translate business requirements into technical requirements for IT development
  3. Help to implement the finance transformation agenda including but not limited to conduct requirement workshops, develop use cases, conduct training, and implement systems and processes change.

Requirements

To qualify for the role, you must have

  1. University degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT, preferably with a strong IT skills and good knowledge of accounting and finance
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance system implementation from requirement analysis, UAT support to production implementation where the experience of working for consulting firms and/or financial sector (banking and/or insurance) is preferred
  3. Technical business analyst capability. Able to translate business requirements into technical requirements and design for IT development
  4. Experience in data mappings and data model design is an advantage
  5. Able to communicate with seasoned Finance professionals of EY clients confidently
  6. Proficient in application software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SQL. Proficiency with analytical tools like Power BI, Qlikview, Tableau a strong preference
  7. Fully proficient in spoken and written English, with a strong preference for people who can also speak Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin)

  3. Good understanding of the financial services marketplace, as well as industry trends and issues
