Use your knowledge and expertise to contribute to an experienced and motivated team mastering the latest design technologies.Why join our Customer Service team?Reporting to the Manager, Customer Service, the Contract Administrator is involved in the development, proposal, contracting and execution of service programs and ensures CMC’s service processes meet contractual and regulatory requirements and customer expectations in the most efficient means possible.The Contract Administrator performs the role of Contract Administrator, Customer Service (CACS), customer relationship and account management for all customers. Oversees and resolves complex critical issues that may arise with customers assigned to a CACS. Responsible for leveraging information technology and lean workflow techniques to maximize the efficiency of the service process throughout CMC and the development of service campaigns, agreements and revenue growth initiatives.As a Contract Administrator, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Carry out the responsibilities of Contract Administrator – Customer Service for all customers.
  • Ensure adherence to CMC company policies and procedures related to quotation/proposal generation and submission, customer liaison, internal accounting, administration, financial processes, and applicable reporting requirements.
  • Develop service proposals including preparation of terms and conditions, compliance matrices and bid approvals.
  • Contribute to contract negotiations with customers and suppliers.
  • Contribute in the procurement process for subcontracted items such as preparing service proposal requests, Product Support Agreements, service contracts and purchase orders.
  • Carry out market research (market trends, competitive information, regulatory issues, product strengths and weaknesses based on customer feedback, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain the service pricing catalogues and policies.
  • Participate in Booking, Sales and Gross Margin planning and monitoring.
  • Establish and maintain Service Level agreements with CMC’s service channels including vendors, MROs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) and parts distribution centers.
  • Monitor internal reporting tools and workflows.
  • Implement necessary changes to achieve the most streamlined process possible.
  • Performs any other related tasks as assigned.

  • Strong negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Thorough knowledge of MRP Systems, reporting tools and related business processes;
  • Reliable, self-managing.
  • Propensity to take ownership and responsibility is in balance with your ability to perform well in a team environment.
  • Problem solving skills allow you to consider the details and complexities of issues, while still driving for results.
  • Bachelor Degree in Administration or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of related experience in sales, contracts or service administration in the aviation service business or similar complex industry segment.
