Responsible for the Contract Coordination within the Materials Management Department. Provides assistance and support to the Director of Supply Chain.
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs contract review and data gathering on all contracts relating to materials management.
- Creates, tracks and follows up on RFP’s, invitations for bids, multi-year procurement packages involving contracts for services, consultants, equipment, supplies and capital improvements.
- Preforms statistical analysis of all data gathered through research or negotiations.
- Assists management with analyzing, tracking and reporting best practices for benchmarking purposes.
- Performs necessary analytics to support contracting decisions.
- Evaluates bids and proposals, negotiates with suppliers and makes recommendations.
- Performs contract review ensuring appropriate communication on any and all compliance related issues.
- Analyzes requests for contract extensions and/or amendments.
- Analyzes requests for renewal or cancellation of contracts.
- Maintains spreadsheets and databases for contract files including budget information.
- Uploads and maintains contracts in our contract management system.
- Tracks and updates all price increases relating to GPO contracts.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Computer skills required in word processing, Excel spreadsheets, and database management.
- Excellent analytical, written, interpersonal, independent thinking and communications skills required.
- Detailed oriented.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Highschool Diploma
- Experience with contract management
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s Degree
- 3-5 years of healthcare supply chain experience.
