As the leading employer in the district, Bradford Council cares about being a great place to work.We are looking for experienced Contract and Quality Manager who is passionate about improving outcomes for adults to join our Peoples Commissioning and Contract Management team. Post holders will line manage a small team and manage contracts commissioned to support the work of Bradford Adult Social Care.You will be joining a supportive and highly skilled team which champion’s Bradford’s commissioning and contract management practice and functions as key driver for developing services for adults within the wider health and care partnership.The permanent role will focus on managing contracts and grants for Early Help and Prevention services. Examples of contracts and grants within this area include Local Community Support Grants, Equipment Services, and Accessible Information. Candidates will be required to demonstrate relevant experience of contracts management within Adult Social Care and a strong understanding of the current key priorities, legislation and standards.The post will be assisting in the development and implementation of relevant contract management approaches that can be utilised in conjunction with corporate and other key stakeholders.Candidates should have a good understanding of adult social care and experience in leading on contract management, performance and quality assurance and improvement.The role will provide operational management to Contracts & Quality Officers ensuring positive outcomes for people who use services.The role will involve the development and implementation of contract management process and practices ensuring we work closely with partners across the health and social care system, and those with lived experience and wider stakeholders, to deliver excellent, high-quality services which meet the needs of Bradford residents, while achieving financial efficiency.Experience of contract management, quality improvement and delivering value for money across adult social care is beneficial however, comprehensive understanding and experience in performance monitoring, improving quality through partnership working, problem solving and the ability to provide effective support and challenge to service providers is key.Candidates will be required to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring that adults have a voice and ability to influence services they access.Click the link to find out more about working at Bradford Council and what it is like to join Team BradfordPlease refer to the Job Profile for full details of the requirements of the post including key competencies.For further information regarding this post please contact Kerry James, Service Manager Contracts & Quality on 07582 100107 orPlease Note A Basic DBS check will be undertaken for this post.Employee OfferWhy work for Bradford Council?
