Pay Rate:  $40.00/hr. on w2 without benefits
Location: 101 Friendship Street Providence, RI 02903
Duration:  6+ months
Must:

• Contract Management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor assigned contracts to ensure they align with DCYF goals, procurement policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote and implement the principles of Active Contract Management (ACM) to support compliance, efficiency, and performance-based results.
• Assist with the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts, including renewals, amendments, and scopes of work.
• Contribute to the development of procurement documents such as Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Single Source Justifications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to address performance issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Provide guidance and technical assistance to program staff and vendors related to contractual requirements and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the department’s procurement and contract management operations.
• Responsible for monthly invoice review and resolution from the Department’s multiple vendors.
