Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is one of the most technically advanced designers and manufacturers of lightweight composite aerospace structures, subassemblies and components. As our Controls Technician provides technical support problem solving, documentation maintenance, modifications, and continuous improvement for power panels and automated controls systems. In this role you’ll be reporting to our Maintenance Manager and have the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our automated equipment is maintained. You will work closely with our engineering and maintenance teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade all aspects of all aspects of equipment to meet the high-quality standards and regulatory requirements of the aerospace industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supervisory responsibility: No
Working Conditions: Indirect Hourly Labor-Maintenance: Indoor production environment, working outside minimally for oversight of the power distribution network, adequate lighting, comfortable temperatures, some work outside may be required. Occasional exposure to moderate noise and machinery moving parts. Ability to work 24/7 schedule/overtime as required.
