Join a fast paced team
in providing nutritionally sound meals to young children. Responsibilities
include:
– Working with a team to serve meals to approximately 250 children, three times per day.
– Coordinating meal service with kitchen personnel and classroom staff.
– Participating in meal preparation, cooking, service and clean-up.
– Ordering supplies as necessary.
– Participating in required trainings and workshops, Center events, and functions.
This is a term,
full-time, benefits eligible position upon the date of hire.

High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Training directly
related to food production
Experience:
– Working in a commercial kitchen.
– Attending to daily maintenance of kitchen equipment.
– Implementing USDA Food Program policies and procedures.
– Directly relating to food handling, preparation and customer service.
– Maintaining required Environmental Health and generally-accepted food industry.
