What can I expect to do in this role?
You will:
- provide receptionist services, in both French and English, for a Regional Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee
- provide program-related clerical and administrative support services to staff of the Regional Office
- provide effective front-line customer service to a diverse group of clients, the general public and various stakeholders
How do I qualify?
Mandatory:
- you are proficient in English as well as in oral French at the advanced level. Your proficiency level will be confirmed before hire.
Customer Service, Interpersonal and Communication Skills:
- you have demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills to provide front-line service and good telephone manner in order to perform receptionist functions and provide factual information
- you have demonstrated oral and written communication skills to respond to inquiries, provide information to clients and develop reports
- you are able to demonstrate tact and sensitivity to communicate with clients
Organizational and Prioritization Skills:
- you can work in a fast paced, high volume environment in both telephone and face-to-face situations
Technical Skills:
- you have demonstrated knowledge of general office procedures to facilitate the administrative operations of an office
- you are proficient with common office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and databases (e.g. PGTED) to type and access information
