• Experience working with secondary-aged children or young people.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes across KS3 and KS4.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and professionally.
• Monitoring student engagement and maintaining a productive atmosphere.
• Ensuring all students remain on task with their assigned work.
• Acting as a positive role model at all times.
• Following the school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies.
• Recording any incidents or issues during cover lessons.
• Liaising with teaching staff about lesson plans and feedback.
• Responding to student queries during lessons.
• Supervising students during transitions between lessons.
