Job Title: Cover TeacherLocation: Southampton
Salary: £90 – £130 per day (Depending on the experience)

As a Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in students’ education. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and supported in the absence of their regular teacher.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 using provided materials.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Adapt to different subjects and student needs as required.
• Provide feedback on lessons and student progress to the school staff.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements

• Previous teaching experience or a background in education.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexibility to teach various subjects and year groups.
• Availability for immediate start on either a full-time or part-time basis.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
