Role Summary: The Credit Administrative Assistant supports the Credit team by processing credit applications, setting up customer accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely data entry. This role communicates with customers and Owner-Associates to resolve open items, collaborates with internal teams, and maintains a high level of service excellence. The position requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The Credit Administrative Assistant utilizes Microsoft Office and ERP systems to complete daily administrative and credit-related tasks while contributing to overall credit operations and customer support.

Exciting Work You Will Do:

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Credit Administrative Assistant position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Answer telephone calls, monitor and distribute emails and correspondence
  • Respond to customer requests
  • Process credit applications
  • Set up new customer accounts
  • Handle requested customer forms and certified/returned mail
  • Assist with managing customer tax exemption forms and taxability status
  • Generate notices as required by construction lien statutes
  • Perform general administrative tasks for the Credit Department
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

  • Work experience: Entry-level
  • education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Analytics/Computer Skills: Competency with MS Office and Excel; attention to detail
  • Organization Skills: Highly organized; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Cross-functional Skills: Ability to work effectively across functions; strong customer service orientation
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical, Mental & ; Visual Skills: Ability to see, talk, hear, and sit for 8 hours
  • Physical Environment: Normal office environment
  • Travel: Occasional travel

Qualifications we prefer but don’t require:

  • Prior administrative experience
