JOB SUMMARY
Evaluates the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the Bank. Prepares spreadsheets, financial spreads, reports, summaries and opinions for Loan Officers on new, renewal and existing loans. Provides more in-depth analysis and is able to identify trends. Oversees, provides guidance/training and may direct the work of other Credit Analysts. Makes recommendations to loan committee based on analysis and conformity to loan policy. Conducts loan file review and tracks financial reporting and covenants.

education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, economics, finance or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Certifications: None
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Training and Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of prior commercial credit analysis experience required. Superior attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Successful completion of in-house training program. Ability to work autonomously and with little guidance. Displays the confidence and competence to gain/maintain the Bank’s credibility. Takes initiative to learn, develop oneself and see things through from start to finish. Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving and computer skills; ability to operate standard office equipment.
