The Crew Lead position is an additional level of specialty for select individuals who have demonstrated leadership qualities and received approval from the local branch management to provide direction in a work crew setting. Specific knowledge includes: TCIA Crew Leader Training Program, Crew Safety, Personal Safety, Hazard of Inexperience, and ability to check off levels equal and below. *What You’ll Do*
As a vital member of our *General Tree Care Team*, you will:
*
Climb, prune, and remove large shade trees and ornamentals using ropes, saddles, ladders, and bucket trucks
*
Operate chainsaws and rigging equipment safely and effectively
*
Execute tree care services including removals, cable bracing, and hazard assessment
*
Follow all safety procedures, including ANSI A300 and Z133 standards
*
Mentor and lead team members (Crew Leader role only)
*
Deliver excellent service to customers and represent SavATree with professionalism
*Who We’re Looking For*
*
At least one year of experience climbing without spurs in a professional setting
*
Familiarity with pruning practices and identifying tree/shrub species
*
Understanding of proper climbing and rigging techniques
*
Proficiency in the use of chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other tree care tools
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Leadership experience and Crew Leader certification (preferred for Crew Leader role)
*What You’ll Need*

A genuine passion for working outdoors in a physically active role
*
A valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL strongly preferred)
*
Authorization to work lawfully in the U.S.
* Must be a minimum of 21 years old
