Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Incumbent prepares and makes available surgical trays supplies and equipment to all nursing units including surgery. The incumbent will be responsible for cleaning wrapping and sterilization of surgical items. In addition the incumbent will assist with the receiving and distribution of supplies to various departments within the facility.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two years prior Central Sterile experience required (may waive based on a combination of education/training)

Preferred Qualifications

• Central Sterile experience in an acute care hospital preferred Certified Central Sterile Tech preferred

• Certified Central Sterile Tech preferred

Pay Range

$28.09 – $31.47 /hour
