CT Technologist – CT Scanner

Ability to provide diagnostic x-rays for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients

Maintains good communication skills

Ability to produce examination according to diagnostic and safety protocols for age groups

Ability to produce diagnostic examinations

Maintains infection control procedures for age groups

Prepares and administers contrast media for age groups

Operation and use of pre- and post-examination equipment

Scheduling responsibilities

Maintain current hospital and / or department policies

Experience/ Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school and meets requirements for registry by the ARRT

Must be registered or if recent graduate, must pass registry

Six months experience in CT/Radiology preferred

Must be knowledgeable in the performance of all routine exams and be familiar with all special exams in all patient categories, including: infant, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics.

BCLS certification required

Interpersonal skills are required

Communication skills-verbal and written are required
