Job Description:

Heavy duty mopping and cleaning of floors using industrial size mops.

Waxes and polishes floors using a buffer. Vacuum and clean carpets in buildings.

Performs high dusting of ceiling lights, wall clocks, fans, air conditioning or heating vents. Cleans and washes venetian blinds and windows, and washes down walls.

Disposes of trash and garbage, and clean sand urns.

Sweeps porches and sidewalks. Keeps patio and roof area above auditorium clean.

Transports furniture and equipment in need of repair to maintenance department or business office as appropriate.

Rearranges furniture and moves furniture and equipment about in buildings as needed.

Replaces burned-out light bulbs.

Cleans, waxes, and polishes furniture, cabinets, etc. in building.

Washes and sterilizes laboratory glassware, keeps laboratory equipment clean.

Cleans up grounds around building. Waters and cares for plants in planters in building and patio.

Continuation of Description of Work and Program Responsibility:

Cleans bathrooms and lavatories.

Supplies lavatories with paper towels, soap, and tissue.

Empties waste baskets.

Machines or Equipment Operated and % of Time for Each:
