Norwegian Speaking Customer Service Advisor
Location: Newport (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: £27,000
Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Monday to Friday)About the Role:We’re looking for a Norwegian-speaking Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic Operations team. In this hybrid role, you’ll provide exceptional support to customers and handle insurance-related claims with care and accuracy. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing enquiries, processing claims, and liaising with insurance partners.Key Responsibilities:Customer Service:Handle inbound customer enquiries professionally and efficientlyAccurately record insurance information from customers, brokers, and insurersEnsure all data is entered correctly into internal systemsBuild strong relationships with customers, brokers, and suppliersMeet agreed response times and service level agreementsMaintain detailed case notes for team-wide visibilityHandle complaints in line with company proceduresSupport and mentor new team members when neededClaims Handling:Review and gather information on reported claimsEvaluate coverage, assess documentation, and estimate lossesMaintain accurate records throughout the claims processLiaise with insurers on high-value or complex claimsFollow up proactively to obtain outstanding documents or updatesIdentify opportunities for subrogation or recoveryWhat We’re Looking For:Fluent in Norwegian (spoken and written)Strong customer service and communication skillsAttention to detail and a high level of accuracyAbility to manage workloads and meet deadlinesProblem-solving mindset with a professional approach to complaintsPrior claims experience is an advantage but not essentialBenefits:Bonus scheme based on company performance25 days’ annual leave (option to buy/sell days)5% employer/employee pension contributionsPrivate medical healthcareAcorn by Synergie acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
